Wed - December 28, 2005V10 Sport Surfski from Epic Kayaks Is Going to Production in Early 2006![]() Greg
Barton writes in his today blog entry about Epic Kayak plans for the V10
Sport which is a more stable version of the Epic V10 surf ski. The V10
sport is 20 ft. long by 19 inches wide, vs. 21'4" x 17.1" for the V10. The seat
is slightly wider and the fully adjustable foot braces will fit paddlers from
5'0" to 6'7" tall. The first V10 Sports will be coming out of the mold in
January and will be available in USA in
April.
"The V10 Sport is an unmatched combination of speed and stability. We've scaled our popular V10 shape to make it even more stable - perfect for those who'd rather be paddling than bracing! Like our V10, the V10 Sport is fast on flat water and really shines when the waves kick up." There are reviews of the Epic V10 surfski on surrfski.info, North East Surfski Racing, and Canoe and Kayak Magazine, but the new V10 Sport will probably closer to to 19.1'x19.25" Fenn Mako XT or 19.9'x18.75" Huki S1-R.
