fitness paddling: exercise, train, race by kayak & canoe

• Peter from Denmark started to use Garmin Edge 305 GPS with heart rate monitor in his paddling and training. He is posting some plots from his workouts in his blog. He like me choose the Edge 305, a device designed for bikers over Garmin Forerunner 305.
• Bjørn Olin is sharing his and his friends photographs at essingen.com. The pictures from racing at Stokholm by Anette Sandberg are great. Nice close-ups, focus on paddlers, different boats. And, you really need to see beautiful shots of wooden VKV 100 kayak on a dock.
• Serious paddlers, racers and addicted kayak builders usually own several boats. John Caldeira has great pictures of his solution for storing kayaks in two-car garage. Unfortunately, that setup wouldn't work for me since the only way I can fit 24' Surfriger in my garage is to hang her diagonally. My garage racks are not so pretty but still practical.
