  • Registration for 2007 Colorado River 100 Race (September 1-2, 2007) is now open. This year the race will be limited to 150 boats, register early to save money and ensure your spot on race day. Changes to entries may be made up to 2 weeks prior to race day.
  • I am updating my 2007 Marathon and Ultra Marathon Paddling Race Calendar, but it is not supposed to be a complete listing. It is just reflects my interest and my driving range from Colorado.
  • Kayak Test Report 2006/2007 by Rapid Ascent - 132 pages of a detailed review of 41 different kayaks with a focus on adventure racing.
  • Popularity of multisport kayaks designed originally in New Zealand is growing. Here is a new Swedish design: Rocket from Nordic Kayaks and one more picture of this kayak in Motionspaddling blog (text in Swedish).
  • Van Dusen Mohican unlimited kayak pictures can be found in Richard Hodgkins' gallery. Good shots revealing many interesting details. It is worth to dig in the Richard's gallery for mare pictures from kayak and canoe racing in Midwest.
  • I have posted a 1 minute video clip from paddling WSBS Thunderbolt-X kayak and more movies will follow as soon as I have chance to paddle more interesting waters.
