fitness paddling: exercise, train, race by kayak & canoe

I participated in Lohja Marathon, a small race in the neighboring country Finland. Very few starters but extremely good paddlers. One guy stood out. He left everybody in the wash at the starting line. Tommy Ritala is probably the best marathon paddler in Finland.

I came in fifth in the men's class (of five starting :-( ) and as a bonus I got beaten by one of those über-veterans, Markku Savolainen.
