Surfski Downwind Run in San Francisco Bay - Video Shot with Pentax Optio W30

Route: Muir Beach to Pt Bonita shooting the rocks. Down the Golden Gate Channel to Sausalito. The ocean part of this run will be in the U.S. Surfski Championship course.

Paddlers: Carter Johnson and Zsolt Szadovszki

Conditions: Medium for the Pacific. 15 knot winds out of North West.

I took this video with my Pentax Optio w30. The camera was on a pocket tripod duct taped to the front of my Huki S1-X surfski. It is always pointing up or down the waves with the boat so it does not give a real good perspective of the wave size, but fun none the less.

Original file is 1 hour and 4 gigs, 640x480 @ 30 fps. The 2 minute clip raw is 500 mb. I compressed it down to only 5 mb before posting on You Tube.
