Paddle Workout with a Camera Mounted on a Kayak Deck

paddle workout October 21, 2007. Afternoon on the Beaver Pond in Arapaho Bend Natural Area near Fort Collins.

There were still some gold fall colors, but it was really windy and cold. It was the first time this fall when I was forced to use gloves and a paddling jacket. Nevertheless, I had fun in my Thunderbolt-x kayak.

The camera was mounted on a kayak bow with a sticky pod or rather with a mount I improvised using three suction cups from the original sticky pod.

Of course, you need some sort of a compact waterproof camera too.

It is not only for fun, but also a tool to evaluate your paddling technique.
